Hi, I’m Cassandra “Caz” Gaddis. It’s nice to virtually meet you!

| Personal Power Coach | Keynote Speaker | Podcaster | Brand Storyteller | Film Wife | Mom of 2 under 2!| Lover of all things Iridescent |

Long story, shorter-ish.

Caz Gaddis with CieloCassandra “Caz” Gaddis was raised by her grandparents, received her sazon through her multicultural upbringing, and continues to develop through lots of failing up.

If streets could talk, the 105th block of Corona, Queens in New York City would share that Cassandra was a born an entrepreneur, a creative, an entertainer, and a teacher. She would spend hours outside on her stoop attempting to sell her toys or teach a quick lesson from her Fisher Price chalkboard easel to any passerby. Growing up she loved to sing, dance, and talk to people.

Caz Gaddis as a kidShe’d literally steal the microphone whenever she could during a live band performance or fashion show taking place at her parent’s restaurant in Dominican Republic.

That vivacious little girl did not like to feel limited and loved to connect with others. As Cassandra grew up, life happened and a lot of her internal spark dimmed down to a glow. Externally though, she thrived with her overachieving and perfectionist tendencies. They had served her very well, until they didn’t. The high demands she was placing on herself started to outgrow her, leaving Cassandra in burnt out and wanting a more meaningful life. She literally fantasized for a stranger on the street to just grab her by her shoulders, gently shake her, tell her what her life purpose was while pointing out to her how to get there.

After college, she decided it was time to shake things off and recenter herself with what remained. She temporarily moved from SouthWest Florida to the North Coast of the Dominican Republic (where her parents live) for a season of unbecoming. Though at the time it didn’t sound as intentional and meaningful. It was her way to cope, release, and recreate herself.

And, she did. Though it was not as fast, as smooth, or as easy as she had hoped.

(Spoiler– she’s learned that it’s a continual evolution of self.)

Fast-forward to late 2010, Cassandra decided to pursue her career aspiration of one day becoming a University President so she moved to Dallas, Texas and started a Masters in Higher Education. Within a couple of weeks in North Texas, she met Les Gaddis, a filmmaker who introduced her into the world of video production. Les nicknamed her, Caz, and also gave her a new last name within a couple of years! She felt her spark’s glow expanding again.

Caz has spent the last 10 years working in marketing, video production, and personal development for a few universities in Texas and Florida, some digital marketing agencies (including whitelabeling for one of the largest social media platforms), an international coach training school, and dozens of freelance clients. She holds a Masters in Mass Communications, specializing in Social Media Marketing from the University of Florida.

She started working for the Institute for Professional Excellence in Coaching (iPEC) in 2017 on their international marketing efforts. She simultaneously embarked in their Coach Training Program and became pregnant with their first baby, their daughter named Skylyn. Talk about going deep into personal development! (Becoming a parent is the biggest mirror, am I right?!)

Caz Gaddis Family

In mid-2019 and after an impactful two-and-a-half years working at iPEC Coaching, Caz knew it was time to release her role as she prepared for the birth of her son, Quest.

She never expected that birthing her family would become the catalyst to birthing her More Than A Parent coaching practice and lifestyle brand. She passionately feels they are both her life’s work.

Caz Gaddis helps moms rediscover themselves & stand in their personal power to create an intentional life with impact, both at home and as More Than A Parent. Founder of the More Than A Parent video podcast, she invites moms to make space for them to “Be Your More. Live Your And!” from a place of being ‘more’ of and for ourselves, rather than just doing more.

As a Personal Power Coach, She feels most alive when she’s helping others to break through what’s holding them back from showing up and living the life that wants to be lived through them.

She lights up when she can spark possibilities for others. Whether that’s through an everyday connection, one of her coaching programs, a creative consulting project, or through an episode of the More Than A Parent video podcast.

Her focus on inner-work and her belief in integration set her apart from others, who tend to focus on one-dimensional solutions over holographic coaching and strategy.

Caz is an ICF-Certified Professional Coach specializing in core energy self-leadership; a keynote speaker; a creative consultant; and a brand storyteller with a master’s in communications, specializing in social media marketing. She has over ten years in marketing and video production, serving small-businesses to international brands, through both her own boutique consultancy and past digital agency experience.

Caz speaks and writes about life transitions, purpose, and legacy to high performance through the coach-centric lenses of both parenthood and entrepreneurial adventures. She’s known most for her authenticity, resourcefulness, and unfiltered snorts.

She’s the proud wife of filmmaker Les Gaddis, and mom of two-under-two, Skylyn + Quest.

When she is not coaching, consulting, or speaking- Caz enjoys…

WHAT I DO:

I help my clients show up to their life with more energy, authenticity, and alignment so they can own their awesomeness and not shrink down from unlimited living.

I help moms rediscover themselves & stand in their personal power to create an intentional life with impact, both at home and as More Than A Parent. From a place of being ‘more’ of and for ourselves, rather than just doing more.

We explore self-identity, visioning, values, and from there create the life they want to live and hold them accountable through these intentions. When we work together, you’ll find greater fulfillment and create more meaningful impact both in and out of your home. It all starts within, with inner-work (see what I did there?).

WHO I WORK WITH:

I work with dreamer and doer moms who have this inkling that there is “something more” for themselves than just being a parent and they want to explore what that can look like. Whether that’s just more me-time, birthing a business or cause, or crafting a whole new lifestyle, they are looking for ways to integrate “all the things”, tools to create their next best selves, and an authentic resource to be their sounding board and someone who can partner with them to see the big vision as their dry-erase board. They are ready to stretch forward.

WHY I DO IT:

While I initially did not want to have kids, as we started growing our family and I pursued my Coach Training Program, I experienced the greatest personal development journey. To this day it’s been the most rewarding adventure with uncharted challenges and awe-eliciting moments. I totally get how emotional, spiritual, mentally and physically draining it can all be. Sometimes just surviving the day and keeping everyone alive is the greatest win. But there can and is more if you want it. While surrender is one of the biggest shape-shifting and recurring lessons in being a parent, it does in any way mean that we need to fully self-sacrifice our identity, or our dreams, passions, skills and desires. You can be, do, have and experience all you choose to.

I aspire to empower you as we continue on this parenting journey alongside one another. I’ve combined my 15+ years of leadership, entrepreneurial, marketing, video production, and personal development experiences with the tools and resources as a certified coach.
